Product Overview

Monopril is a monofilament synthetic absorbable surgical suture prepared from a copolymer of glycolide and epsilon-caprolactone. It is non-antigenic and elicits only a slight tissue reaction during absorption.

Key Indications:

  • Indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues, microsurgery or ophthalmic surgery
  • The ultimate suture for female skin approximation and subcutaneous tissue approximation.
  • Frequently used by Plastic Surgeons, Gynaecologists, and General Surgeons.
